Crazy Fingers Performance at Lahaina Vacation Rental Streamed to NY

It started with a phone call from a woman from New York calling herself “Rose”. She said something to the effect of needing to schedule a time to have someone perform a “signal check” at our Lahaina Oceanfront Estate and something about a wedding in New York with live streaming video and some other technical gibberish I didn’t really understand. At any rate, I agreed to meet someone at the Lahaina oceanfront vacation rental and let them do their thing.
In looking at the schedule for the Oceanfront Estate, about two weeks ago I saw that June 11th was blocked off for some event taking place there and I was still somewhat unclear what it was. Apparently, a well known band 
named “Crazy Fingers” was going to be here to play a gig that was going to be broadcast live to a New York wedding. Now it was now making some sense to me.
On Friday, I got a call from a guy named Scott and he says he wants to drop off some equipment for the “gig” he’s doing on Saturday. Unbeknownst to me, the “guy” Scott happens to be Scott Baird, the band leader, lead vocalist and guitarist with Crazy Fingers. Come to find out, Scott works with & performs with several famous performers including Ziggy Marley, Los Lobos, Black Eyed Peas, Doobie Brothers, Jimmy Buffett among many - many others.
I agree to meet him at the property, he drops off some musical equipment and we agree to meet again at 8:30 AM sharp so he and the rest of the band can set up and get ready for their 10:00 AM peformance. One by one, they come streaming in and introducing themselves; each band member with their respective instrument in tow. They set up on our beautiful lawn with the deep blue Maui Ocean 
with sailboats as their backdrop. Can you just imagine being at a First Class Wedding at the Waldorf Astoria in New York and watching this most incredible Maui wedding venue streaming live just for you – the guests? Videographers, sound technicians, soundboards – I’m beginning to see these guys are the real thing!
After a little warming up they start playing. All I can say is I had a severe case of goose bumps; the sound, the talent, the voices – absolutely incredible. This compellation of extraordinary talented individuals playing right in our front yard – and being broadcast to New York nonetheless.
They played non-stop for an hour with one song sounding better than the last and clearly having fun all the while. Afterwards, they broke down their equipment and congregated in the 
kitchen and on the lanai and took some time to reflect on their performance and mingle with fortunate guests watching them perform at this most special location.
Just another day in Paradise? Maybe, but it was pretty spectacular for me. Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below. And,
