Maui Tips from a Visitor staying in Maui Vacation Home Rental

If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to spend your vacation time while on Maui – I found it! After spending a week 
at a condo in Kihei with a crowded pool and children screaming 'Marco Polo' for what seemed like an eternity, I decided to pack up my belongings and headed for Lahaina with the same result. Desperate for a much needed rest, I was determined to find lodging which suited my needs. I searched the Internet, I studied every resource book I could get my hands on and finally came across an ad by a local company called Lahaina Accommodations.
I was fortunate to reserve the last room available. Wow, a five minute beach stroll to historic Lahaina town, a private pool 
and the beach merely steps away! Beach chairs, water noodles, snorkel equipment available for guests to use. The proprietor was kind enough to take the time to personally show me this property - “Old Lahaina House” and her other vacation rental properties as well. She was proud, and rightfully so, to give me a tour of her most budget minded properties up to her Oceanfront Estate; when touring this particular property, I couldn’t help but visualize a wedding, a family reunion or simply a fabulous vacation with family and friends. I enjoyed a perfect final week taking advantage of the pool and serene setting at Old Lahaina House. It was just a casual stroll to Lahaina’s wonderful restaurants. In in order to budget, I could prepare breakfast and lunch in my room allowing me to afford occasional meals at these fine restaurants.
How often does one find an innkeeper waiting in her front yard welcoming her guests? Thank you so much Sherry for welcoming me to your very special home!
