When I'm planning a Maui wedding, I like to begin by getting to know the bride. 
When planning a wedding, though organization is very important, for me individuality is even more important. I like to share photos, talk story and be 'friends' on facebook so that we become friends even before we meet. This helps me create a unique island wedding experience for each person. To help plan your Maui wedding, I also have brides fill out a 'bridal resume' with easy and fun questions that helps me understand what the bride is looking for in a wedding.

Then it's back to organizing. This is how I break down planning a wedding in Maui.
Wedding Checklist: (in a nutshell)
- Wedding Date
- Ceremony Location
- Minister / Wedding Officiant
- Marriage License Appointment / Beach Permit if needed
- Reception Location
- Catering and Food Cost
- Rentals
- Photography / Videography
- Wedding Cake
- Flowers (Bouquets and Centerpieces)
- Lighting (Lanterns, Tiki torches, etc.)
- Music, Entertainment and Sound
- Invitations, Guest List, Table Seating
- Additional Decor (Parasols, Photo Collages, etc.)
- Coordinator or PERSON RESPONSIBLE!

recommendation matching your wedding preferences. Typically, once your Maui wedding location is determined the next step is food. Since the biggest cost in a wedding is usually the combination of the catering and rental equipment, it always a good idea to secure your catering and wedding rental equipement early on.
