Maui Wedding Tips: Selecting Your Maui Wedding Location is Step 1

The first step in planning a destination wedding involves determining a date and Maui wedding location. Assuming you can pick the date, here are a few Maui wedding location options:
Maui Beach Weddings
Pros: It's a beautiful beach in Maui! Also happens to be the cheapest way to go. For a simple wedding ceremony with a minister, a beach wedding permit and the Maui county marriage license, you can get married on Maui for under $500! Sometimes photos and flowers too.
Cons: Zero privacy guarantee. Permits require beach weddings to last less than a hour. You will need to find a seperate wedding reception location. Receptions are usually not available on the beach.
Maui offers many beautiful beaches for your island wedding. Floral arrangements dress up a beach wedding location to create the perfect ceremony.
Maui Private Estate Wedding Venue
Pros: Stay and Relax all day (or week!) at the same place you are getting married. Less stress, total privacy! Indulge in The Ultimate Maui Wedding Experience: Create a customized wedding experience with privacy guaranteed! A wide variety of Maui private estates offer site rental with overnight accommodations available.
Cons: Quiet hours are 10pm. All parties have to shut down or move to a bar that is open until 2am if you want to go all night long.
Maui Hotel Wedding
Pros: The wedding coordinators at hotels are very professional. Some of the best on the island.
Cons: Expensive. Resort hotel weddings usually have tight schedules without flexibility.
Options are often limited by the hotel.
Some of the most amazing weddings are hosted at the hotels. I think the Ritz-Carlton offers a horse and carriage option with one of their wedding packages.
Restaurant
Pros: Wedding attendees are able to pay their own tab. No messy clean up and usually more affordable with less hassle.
Cons: Perhaps suitable for a small wedding reception, who wants to get married in a restaurant? Most places do not offer private rooms.
